Living
a simple and sustainable lifestyle has been at the forefront for Tim
and Jaime Klco for many years. Their commitment started from just simple
recycling practices, to reclamation work, and working in the renewable
fuels
industry. But it wasn't until they moved into an "off-grid"
home in the
mountains of Central Colorado that Tim realized that PV, Solar Electric,
was
his calling in life. Since opening Peak Solar Designs in 2004 Tim has
installed numerous grid-tie and off-grid systems in Central Colorado,
with
many more to come.
Peak
Solar Designs is committed to contributing to a cleaner environment
at
home and in their business. They are excited that the last six months
of
systems have contributed to the reduction of over 180,000 pounds of
carbon
dioxide per year. This impact is equivalent to driving over 200,000
miles
per year. With the addition of their first son, Avery Jackson, they
look
forward to passing these practices on to the next generation.
