ABOUT GRID-TIE SYSTEMS

With a Grid-Tie System, the solar system is tied into the grid at the main service panel in your home. Any electricity not used in the home is credited to your Xcel Energy account - Your meter actually spins backwards!

Xcel Energy offers rebates that, along with federal tax credits, can cut the cost of the system by over 50%, greatly reducing the payback period. Battery back-up can also be added to eliminate electricity loss during periods of blackout.

ABOUT OFF-GRID SYSTEMS

Off-Grid Systems are also available for areas where electricity is not accessible or when a customer chooses not to tie into the grid.
